About
Viewyas is a field atlas of the world's viewpoints, built entirely on open data.
For each viewpoint we calculate the 360° panorama on the Copernicus relief model, one degree at a time up to 250 km, with the curvature of the Earth and the refraction of the air; we find the named peaks of our mountain atlas that rise above it, where the sea is, when the sun really sets behind the relief each month, and we read the clouds from NASA.
Nothing here is a forecast or a safety assessment. Cliff edges and summits are dangerous: stay behind the railings, watch the weather and the wind, and keep children close.
